Falcon Theatre’s competitive UIL One-Act Play show, “The Lost Boy” by Ronald Gabriel Paolillo, will perform for the last time this coming Monday, April 8. They will perform throughout the day for classes, then finish the day with a free, final performance at 7 p.m.
The theatre department is presenting ‘Treasure Island,’ which will be bringing the children’s story to the stage Friday, April 5 through Sunday, April 7 in the auditorium.
Falcon Theatre’s UIL One Act Play, The Lost Boy by Ronald Gabriel Paolillo, placed fourth at the District UIL One Act Play Competition last Friday, March 22, earning them the title of alternate show to Bi-District.
Chamber Choir earned their place as Grand Champions at their first competition, the North Texas Madrigal Festival, on March 8, 2019. Not only was it a prestigious honor to have won first place among the 38 participating choirs, but this is the first year Timber Creek has had a Chamber Choir.
Timber Creek’s One Act Play titled “The Lost Boy” follows the author of Peter Pan, James Barrie, and shows how his unfortunate circumstances inspired the story.
Stage West Theatre will produce two student-written plays Monday, May 6 through Wednesday, May 8 during the annual Festival of the Kid, a celebration of the work of young playwrights in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Read a sample from both of the scripts here.
On March 16, the drumline finished first place at the Winter Guard International or WGI Houston regional competition. Following their tenth place finish in WGI Championships in Dayton, Ohio last year, the group wanted to leave their mark on their last WGI competition of the season.
This state wide celebration of art and art education was held on Thursday, March 7.
This spring break, the Trinity Springs Middle School Wind Ensemble will be traveling to Indianapolis, Indiana to perform in the Music For All National Festival.
