Everybody is Russian to History Club Sept. 18

Tryouts for the varsity and junior varsity 2017-18 bowling team will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays all October long. The team competes at Brunswick Zone in Watauga.
Future Business Leaders of America is having their first interest meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 20, in room N201, starting at 4:00 pm. Everett Johnson sponsors the club to allow students who are interested in going into the business world to fulfill their passions by learning and growing in areas such as Finance, Business Management & Administration, Agriculture, A/V Technology and Communication.
If students are interested in pursuing a career in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM), Engineering Club is an excellent fit.
German Club meets Sept. 13 at 4:00 p.m. The meeting will take place in German teacher, Curtis Russell’s classroom, S105. They will be discussing officer elections, dues, T-shirts and future plans for the year.
The French Club celebrates French and Francophone culture by promoting the use of the French language and providing an exploration of the diversity and richness of French-speaking communities throughout the world.
A four year old club called the Earth Warriors will be meeting on Monday, Sept. 11 at 3:50 pm and Tuesday, Sept. 12 at 8:00 am in Coach Arkfield’s room M212.
The Timber Creek Spanish Club is an aspect of how students are striving towards just that. Their mission reads as: “The Spanish Club proposes to promote awareness, appreciation, and understanding of the people and diverse cultural productions of the Hispanic/Latino world, to contribute and encourage the study and appreciation of the Spanish culture, and build a community of Spanish language learners.”
Prior to school starting on Aug. 15, the Timber Creek media team have been working non-stop to inform the new and returning students during the chaos that is back to school season.
Photography Club will meet Sept. 13 at 3:55 p.m. in room N201. In Photography Club, Timber Creek students can increase their photography skills, go cool places to take photos, and build relationships with fellow photographers.
