On April 13, 2018 changed rippled throughout the Timber Creek halls as the new Sky Dancers and Violet Belles were announced, and among the names of hopeful newcomers, was Maverick Brazeal, the first male Violet Belle.
For all of the Sky Dancer hopefuls, there is a mandatory tryout meeting on March 27 at 7:00 p.m. in the Timber Creek cafeteria.
The Timber Creek Sky Dancers enjoyed an out of state performance before Spring Break, going to Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL.

Now that pep rallies and football season are over, the Sky Dancers are now focused on getting ready for competition season.
On Feb. 7, all Timber Creek Sky Dancers, Violet Belles, and dance class students with be holding their annual Dance showcase at 7:00 p.m. in the main gym.
The Sky Dancers are hosting their annual Dance Clinic on Saturday, Dec. 2 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
When the Sky Dancers walk onto the field, one can often hear a few of the girls counting the rest of the dancers on. These dancers are the seven Sky Dancer officers, each in charge of a group of Sky Dancers called a squad.

The Sky Dancers competed on Saturday, March 25, at the National Companionship at the Fort Worth Convention Center and brought home multiple wins as well as the title for National Champion Trio.
