There’s been a slight change up in the UIL District alignment for the 2020-2022 seasons. Denton Guyer has been moved to a different district, while the rest of Creek’s opponents remain untouched.
January 29, 2020 is the 100th day of the 2019-2020 school year and Keller ISD is celebrating in lots of ways. We’re sharing 100 photos, some which haven’t been published before in our celebration and recollection of the first 100 days.
Throughout their entire season, the Falcon varsity tennis squad made history, and was undefeated. The high hopes and positive energy that the Falcons came into their season with helped them to succeed.
Timber Creek won second place in varsity team tennis in the 5-6A district after their own district loss of the season to Southlake Carroll on Oct. 8, 2019. Tennis heads to playoffs against Marcus High School on Oct. 15 at home.
With a 2nd place in district secured, the Falcon Tennis Team will play Southlake Carroll on Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. at Timber Creek for the District Championship.
After winning against Byron Nelson on Tuesday, Sept. 17, varsity tennis moved on to a 4-0 record in district matches. Support tennis on Tuesday Sept. 24 vs. Fossil Ridge at home.
Timber Creek Varsity Tennis achieved a feat that’s never been done before; after 10 years of playing against Keller High School in tennis matches, the Falcon Tennis Team won their first tournament vs Keller 10-9. They were down 6-9 and aggressively came back, resulting in a monumental victory.
The Junior Varsity Tennis team ended their first tournament of the season on Aug. 9, with two history making wins against Varsity teams. Not only are these wins the first time JV has beat a Varsity team, but they prove the team is equipped for a season of victories.
The upcoming tennis season will be sure to cause a racket as the Timber Creek Tennis Team looks to take on tougher competition and new challenges.
