Before the school year even started, the Timber Creek Cross Country Team practiced everyday. This was not unfamiliar for most members of the team, but there was something different this summer: Josh Allen was the new head coach.

On Sat., Aug. 18, the Timber Creek cross country team opened their season at the Mansfield-Timberview Six Mile Relay.
The friends and family of a fallen Timber Creek student are remembering the bright smile and positive influence of track and field star, while encouraging students to take their safety seriously during upcoming events.
With their season coming to a close, the Timber Creek Track and Field Team ran the fields at their Area Championships on Friday, April 4.
With five senior student-athletes from basketball, track, swimming and golf, the Timber Creek High School Spring Signing took place on Wednesday, April 11, at 3 p.m. during fifth period.
On Friday March 2, the Timber Creek track and field team competed in the Northwest Texan Invitational. Girls varsity got second place while boys varsity won the meet overall.
After a semester of off season workouts and training, track and field athletes are preparing for future meets. They laced up their sneakers for their home meet, and are now setting up their blocks to compete in the Northwest Texan Relays on Friday, March 2 at Texan Stadium.
