With mornings filled with sweat, blisters, and puke, everyday workouts may seem gruesome to onlookers, but for these athletes, it’s all worth it for the competition, friendships and memories that are made during practice.
Timber Creek’s Track and Field team has been training all year in preparation to dominate at this year’s district track meet.
Timber Creek’s athletes competed in the Ranger Invitational Track Meet that took place on March 25 at Chisholm Trail High School.
The Timber Creek High School Track team has been eagerly preparing for the season since the first day of school. Now that the season is here, the athletes are working harder than ever.
The Timber Creek High School Cross Country team officially began their 2016 season at the Hebron Hawk 2-mile Invitational on Friday night.
Timber Creek’s track season came to an exciting close with two students, Elise Hodges and Malique Williams, doing very well at the state competition.
Timber Creek will have two of our very own representing our school at the State Track Meet at the University of Texas-Austin.
On Saturday, February 20th, the Timber Creek track and field team hosted their first meet of the 2016 season. With ease, the women’s overall team won with first place, and the men’s overall team won in second, out of ten schools attending.
