On Aug. 16, past and future Timber Creek golfers, Olivia and Samantha Gibbs, were featured on NBC 5 to promote First Tee, a low cost camp to teach children how to play golf and teach life lessons through the sport.

Puffs, directed by Craig Robertson, is one of three shows in the fall theatre season. The show will run from Thursday, Sept. 19 through 21 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 22 at 2 p.m. in the FAC.

The 2019 Falcon Football campaign began in an away match-up against Rockwall Heath on Aug. 29, and while confidence was high, execution simply was not there, as the boys in purple and gold lost a tough game to start the season.

Although AP exams aren’t until May, students who plan on taking an AP exam this school year will need to register by 4 p.m. Nov. 8.

The Public Service club is hosting their first spirit night on Sept. 3 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. It will be held at Chicken Express on Timberland Blvd, to raise money for new equipment, uniforms, competitions, transportation, and more.

The sun shines down upon a team putting in hours of arduous work on a hot Texas summer day. Exhausted and ready to feel the cool feeling of air conditioning on their burnt skin, the team fights through, preparing for a long, intense season. The slightest mistake could be the difference between glory or failure.
