Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is hosting their first meeting of the school year on Wednesday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. in room N201. Everyone is welcome to come and learn, including students not involved in a business pathway.

Interested in DECA? There is an informational meeting after school on Thursday, Aug. 29 in room M104.

Matt Quattlebaum started on the Skoolie with students from KCAL’s Civil Engineering and Principles of Architecture program at the beginning of the summer of 2019. The “Skoolie” project transforms an ordinary school bus into a mobile home.

On Wednesday, Aug. 28, Keller ISD and AVID will celebrate National College Colors Day. Teachers and students alike are encouraged to support their favorite college by wearing all its gear, including hats, shirts, backpacks, etc.

Since last year, the speech and debate program has doubled in size, and the group is eager to accept new members. The team competes at UIL competitions and is coached by Alyson Neely, and meet from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Starting Monday, Aug. 26, the Daily Grind will open for breakfast in the mornings from 8:00 a.m to 8:20 a.m.
