Former Falcon Angelique Dockendorf, has moved on and is now working to obtain her PhD degree from Baylor University. Dockendorf graduated from Timber Creek as the valedictorian in the class of 2015 and graduated from Baylor with the class of 2018 and discovered her true passion, despite it clashing the path she had already chosen.

School nurses should be qualified to write medical excuse notes for students who have attempted to attend school, but are sent home by the nurse due to illness.

Local scholarships allow high school seniors to apply in a smaller pool of applicants, increasing their chances of earning college funds. These scholarships are specifically for seniors in Keller ISD or the surrounding areas.

There are less than 50 yearbooks left to sell. Once those few remaining books have sold, students will no longer be able to receive a yearbook for the 2018-19 school year.

Misty Copeland is a ballet dancer at the American Ballet theatre in New york City, who recently became the company’s first African-American woman to be promoted to principal dancer in its 75 year history. She also became the American Ballet Theatre’s first African-American soloist in two decades, and has inspired many young girls and boys in her important work.

National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is once again holding their iconic paint night, however, on Wednesday, Feb. 27 it will be a kids edition. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in room FA108 for a cheaper price of $10, children from ages 7 to 12 are welcome to come showcase their artistic talents.
